Three pillars

Coverage that holds up on a Tuesday morning.

Every rule below is enforced in the product, not promised in a support email.

Reliability

Shifts get filled, and the person shows up.

The system closes the gaps where coverage usually falls apart.

  • 30-minute confirmation window, or the shift returns to the pool
  • No clock-in within 30 min of start = no-show
  • 3 no-shows in 30 days = 14-day suspension
  • Unfilled shifts expire and alert you — they don't sit silently
Trust

Verified before they ever reach your counter.

Licence, government ID and proof of address are reviewed by compliance staff.

  • GPS clock-in inside a per-branch geofence you set
  • Reliability Score, hidden until 5 completed shifts
  • Ratings, disputes and clawbacks handled by ops
  • PIPEDA-aligned: shifts are never deleted, only appended to
Automation

The paperwork finishes itself.

Verification, billing, payouts and invoicing run without anyone chasing them.

  • Cards charged off-session the moment a shift ends
  • Stripe Connect transfers to pharmacists on the same tick
  • Expense claims: approve, partially approve, or reject a receipt
  • Invoices, GST/HST and province rates handled for you
The money model

One rate. One charge. No withholding.

Commission is billed to the pharmacy — it's never skimmed off the pharmacist's fee. Here's a $60/hr, 4-hour Ontario shift with $30 of mileage, priced end to end.

What the pharmacy pays

Charged to the branch card off-session at shift end.

Professional fee (4 h × $60)$240.00
Reimbursements (mileage)$30.00
ALFA commission (12% of base)$28.80
HST 13% — on commission only$3.74
All-in total$302.54

Reimbursements pass through untaxed. Commission is configurable per province and per pharmacy — percent or flat, never hardcoded.

What the pharmacist receives

Transferred by Stripe Connect the same minute.

Professional fee, in full$240.00
Reimbursements$30.00
GST, if registered+ applied
Paid out$270.00

Choose automated Stripe payouts or manual bank transfer, released by admin. Bank details are encrypted at rest.

Reliability Score

A number that means something.

Weighted from real shift history, not stars alone. Hidden until a pharmacist has completed five shifts, so a lucky start can't fake a track record.

Product

Three surfaces, one ledger.

Pharmacies, pharmacists and internal ops each get a purpose-built view of the same shift.

Pharmacy portal

Post it in two taps.

Branches, saved segments and templates mean a shift is just a date, a slot and a price.

  • Branches with geocoded address and geofence radius
  • Reusable segments — "Morning 09:00–13:00"
  • Fixed-rate or open blind bidding
  • Require licence type, languages, software
  • Bulk create, invite specific pharmacists
  • Review expense receipts and invoices
Pharmacist app

Bid, clock in, get paid.

Verified once, then discover shifts that match your licence, rate band and radius.

  • Blind bids — up to 5 open at a time
  • Propose rate, hours, support staff, reimbursements
  • Accept or decline direct invitations
  • GPS clock-in and clock-out
  • Stripe payouts or manual bank transfer
  • Dashboard, shift history, payout records
Admin console

Ops, finance, compliance.

Role-based access across five internal roles, with a full audit trail behind every change.

  • Verify, reject or suspend accounts
  • Review documents and OCR output
  • Assign, cancel or expire shifts
  • Release manual payouts, mark invoices collected
  • Cancellation reviews and clawbacks
  • Commission, tax and province rate settings
Cancellations

Late notice has a price.

Penalties are set by policy and charged automatically, so nobody has to have the awkward phone call.

More than 14 days out

No penalty

Cancel freely. The shift returns to the pool and the pharmacist is notified.

7 to 14 days out

25% of the shift

Charged to the branch card, or added to the invoice for direct-bill pharmacies.

Under 7 days

50% of the shift

The window where coverage is hardest to replace, and the pharmacist has already planned around you.
